I am in the middle of taking out all the drivetrain in a 90 tsi awd to put in my 92. But i dont know what size the nuts are for the front axles and the drive flanges in the back. They look to be the same. They are pretty big look like 32mm to me but i dont want to goto the store pay 12 bucks for a socket that wont fit. Anyone know what size they are?

1 1/4 works also

it sure does!

I broke my breaker-bar today though trying to remove these, so make sure you use quality tools, you'll break shitty ones (you might break quality ones too but at least they tend to have a warranty!)
