brand new clutch pedel or welded clutch pedel???

alright, i will be doing a clutch pedel job in the near future and i was wondering which one would hold up longer? i know of people welding them together which to me would make a used clutch pedel assembly stronger then a brand new oem one but i want some opinions before i go ahead and do what is needed.

Just weld the old one. If you choose to go with a new one, weld it before you install it or you can keep buying new ones in the future.

alright so a welded one is indeed stronger then a new one? i guess i will be buying a old one and having it welded. can this combo withstand a act2600?????? ### i only dream of driving that massive clutch again

No need to buy anything, just weld the one coming out of your car, it'll be as good as any. It will handle pretty much anything as long as it's welded properly and in the correct position, a very common mistake is to weld the pedal while it's at the worn out position.

also will i beable to adjust the pedel to where it needs to be welded once out of the car?

Yes, because a new pedal will eventally wear out again if not welded when using a heavier than stock clutch, the problem here is with the design of the clutch pedal assembly whether it's old or new.

u wouldnt by happen to know where i weld it at or is it self explained when i pull it out and take a look at it?
