Hey, I just bought this 2g awd and I am putting in a 6bolt stroker. But on the engine I pulled out of the 2g this was the clutch the previous owner was using. I am having a hard time figureing out which exact clutch it is. I was wondering if it was this one http://www.slowboyracing.com/more.php?id=1206&
The number on the bottom of the clutch is 4425991

Yea thats it, its a Centerforce Dual Friction. Its rated between the ACt 2100 and 2600 but they claim its a 2500. I have used this on 4 cars with great results.

I hate to be cheap but its in my blood being a dsm guy, but would that clutch work with my stroker setup? Here is what I got.

4G63 block with 2.4 liter crank
Wiesco pistons and Scat connecting rods
1g head with some minor port work in the bowls(just behind the valves)
1000cc injectors and 255 walbro hp fuel pump
DSM Link
ACT 2600 or Slowboy 3500 (not sure yet which one I will get)
Turbonetics T4 62-1 turbo http://www.turbochargers.com/store/p...roducts_id=184

If not then i am going with the slowboy 3500

I just thought of this as well would that clutch pressure plate bolt up to a 6 bolt flywheel as well? Thanks

Hes right that clutch is for a 7 bolt motor and you got a 6 as you stated. Also I dont think its enough for that setup your talking about getting. This Centerforce is good for around 300whp.

More then likely a Centerforce Dual friction but would have to see the disk to be 100% sure. The clutch will bolt up to a 6 bolt or 7 bolt, fwd or awd, thay all use the same clutch, its the flywheels that are slighty different between them all (6 bolt vs 7 bolt obviously has a different number of bolt holes, awd has a slightly smaller ring gear vs the fwd). The CFDF clutch can hold more torque then the ACT 2100 but for your setup depending on how much boost your planing on running you will probably make fairly short work of it being AWD (I guess this would also depend on how hard & how often you launch)

I really baby my cars but when I am at the track I dont want any reason to worry about my clutch so I am going with the slowboy 3500.
On a side note, will the 2g starter work on a 6bolt flywheel? I read what daren p said but i just want to make sure I read it right about all the different sizes.

Umm, if you are running any serious power, I would highly recommend getting a stronger clutch than the SBR 3500, a SBR 4000 would be better suited. I just had to replace a spec stage 3 after 1000 miles due to it slipping at 30psi.
