Ok i was on my way to a friends house the other day and i crossed over a intersection where a accident had just occured. Well i ran over something big and i could not tell what. a mile down the road the car is now shaking whenever i lay on the throttle.I pulled it apart in the moring and could only find that my axle was a little loose on the intermediate shaft side as i drove the car more it got a little better but it will not go away. Now here's the thing i dont see how running over debris in the road will affect my axel but that has to be it I cheked the rim its not bent and it only shakes when i give it 40% throttle or more

i'm having similar problems. at first i thought my wheels were out of balance cause it would only happen when i was in 5th and trying to go over 3k rpms. then it started happening in 4th and 3rd and now just today i felt the vibrations in 2 gear.
the vibration also goes away when i push in the clutch. my motor revs smooth as butter when i push in the clutch AND the vibration goes away.
as soon as i reengage, vibration returns.

i'm worried that i have bad bearings in my tranny or that it is out of balance somehow.
my wheels aren't bent and i doubt they aren't balanced cause it even happens at slow speeds.

anyone have any ideas?

oh yeah, i also noticed that while driving and having the shakes i can visually see the vibrations on the drivers fender and hood, but on the passenger side, it seems to be pretty smooth.
i kinda stuck my head out the window to see if my wheel was bouncing off the ground(my girl held the steering wheel) nut didn't see anything out of the ordinary.

It was my Axle who knows how it got busted but it was. Sounds like the same problem i had. I could only see it shaking on the right side.
