I was wondering if there was anyway to adjust shift patern on a 1g. When i got the car it was perfect. Now it seems like everything is on an angle and most of the gears are very difficult to engage. Any one have any thoughts feel free to respond.

- Read the VFAQ on how to adjust your shifter cables.

- Make sure your underhood mounting bracket is tightened down solidly. If it's loose, it'll shift around and screw up your shift pattern.

- Make sure the shifter base is securely tightened down. Replacing the bushings between the base and the chassis is a good idea, and can solve a lot of problems. Same with the shift arm pivot bushing.

- Adjust/align your shifter cables.

- Do the skateboard bearing underhood shift cable end replacement. MAJOR improvement.
