I am installing a shepard racing tranny in my 99 GSX, and the "read before installing tranny sheet" from shepard it says "when bolting the trans to the block, do not forget the 12mm head bolt that is installed through the block into the trans directly above the passenger side axel where it enters the trans. Failure to do so will result in poor shifting and block failure." I cant get ahold of them to ask, so does anyone here know what they are talking about? I dont remember this bolt when pulling it out. Is this maybe a reference to a 1G only?
Also, I am confused on what goes into 4 threaded holes in the back of the tranny, under the battery and in between the rear and side tranny mounts. Here is a pic. Thanks for any help
