Fort Worth,
I recently posted that my shifting had become harder in First and third gears. Well about 2 days ago, I noticed that when I am in gears 3-5 I hear a sound that is hard to describe. It sounds like something is loose and wobbling in the transmission. It sounds like the sound that it would make if you put it in 5th gear going about 15 mph. Kinda like the tranny is binding up or something. You can hear it outside the car as well as inside. It has been doing it for about 3 days and I don't think it has gotten louder but I can't tell. It still shifts just the same as always, and I have not noticed any other problems. Do you guys have any idea what this might be? I've done some searching but no luck.

Thanks for any input you can give.

Check and make sure that your shift cable bracket is bolted down tight. Also check your cable ends.
