Clutch is creaking now

Well, I just got my car inspected and after I got my car back, the clutch started creaking. Not the pedal itself but I can hear it in the engine bay. The rate of creak is varied, depending on how slow or fast I press in the pedal. Clutch performance doesn't seem to be hindered. Is this just an annoyance or is there something more to it?

It creaks whether the car is on or off, the fluid is full, happens when the car's warm or cold.
Could it be the rod that connects to the master, or could it be the rod that connects to the fork, or could it be the fork that connects to the ball in the tranny?

Hmm, I think I just answered my own issue...

Did you get your master cylinder change. There is this little gasket that goes between the master and the firewall. I didnt put mine in after I changed mine and it creeked as well.
If you can hear it at the tranny for sure it's you pivot ball and fork creeking mine did it to (Right before it broke)

Nope, I just had a safety inspection done, where they check to make sure my lights are all working and so on, they drive it but nothing odd. I've had two clutch related problems so far and both times, my car was in someone else's hands (that's a dsm for ya, ). Reminds me of that DSM saying...careful, the clutch is quirky.
The creaking has stopped though. I didn't even get a chance to troubleshoot it! One day it creaks the next it doesn't make a sound .
I'm hoping it to be just a fluke, probably not, but we'll see. Worse case, I get stuck in the middle of downtown Honolulu, get her towed home, and end up having to get a new...clutch related items + a rebuilt tranny (shep..possible), just because it's out.
