Ok...I haven't had a problem w/ my talon for over a year so I can't complain.
I have a b&m short shift kit @50% and lately it has been VERY rough to shift both side to side and all around basic movement. Well today it was like shifting through a box of rocks. I took the console out, and sprayed some lubricant on the sprint, and some of the washers. It moved a little easier, so I figured it just needed to be lubed up and would get better with each shift.
Wrong...backing out the driveway I put it in what i thought was 1st. its 3rd, almost stall out, but get it going, end up a at a church parking lot where I left it and got a ride home.
Here's the problem..WHAT THE #### IS WRONG?? No signs of tranny problem, I was driving home from the mall and from work all day before i put lube on it. .. Another thing I noticed was that the shifter, when moving it all the way left to go to 1st/2nd, will go VERY far, further than it every used to go.
Anyone have ideas? I do NOT want to have this piece of shit towed somewhere...
Any ideas would be great guys, thanks!
Nelson.
