First question is searching the net and came across something called a phantom grip kit that is installed in our slip diffs to allow the car to spin both tires, instead of just one. i was wondering if anyone knows anybody with this kit and if it helps anything at all other than burnouts.
Second, everytime i am shifting, fifth gear grinds. i am wondering why this is. could it be a gear outta alignment? what are synchros and what do those do in the trans? thanks for your help.

Ive heard great things about Phantom Grip. I plan to get it. It gives you more traction increasing ETA's and such. May need to bleed your clutch. Not for sure though.

there is a syncro set in between each gear set it allows it to shift into the gear and hold it in place. If you are getting grinding in certain gears chances are there is something wrong with that syncro set.

thanks for the help guys. i'll get the synchro problem looked at here pretty soon, and as for the phantom grip kit, i may have to get that when i change out my engines, do it all at the same time. thanks again
