I tried searching to see whether or not the 2100 would hold around 400 whp on the FWD Talon. The car will be seeing the track like every other weekend, with street radials maybe drag radials here and there. I would love some feedback from some guys currently using this clutch with around the same power on FWD. Thank you.:thumb:

If you are putting 400 to the ground...NO. However (FWD) you will probably just spin the tires before the clutch starts slipping if you are WOT 1-3, then 4/5 will start slipping the clutch. You really need to go with at least a 2600 (Extreme). Just check the specs...

If you dont want the pedal feel of a 2600, but what the grab like one, then look into the slowboy 3500 or 4000. Slowboyracing.com

i was considering that but i have been hearing some bad things about the 3500.

Yeah its just like any other clutch, youll have some that fail and some that are great. thought about using a 2600 with a sbr disc.

I have never been a fan of mixing clutch components, sure it can be done, but I think you would be better off sticking with the same manufacturer of pp/disc...act/act or sbr/sbr or whoever.

yeah slowboy recommends using the competition (sbr) disc with the Act pressure plate. the material they use is a lot softer and does not require a break in.
