Alright, I bought a used transmission from Noyan USA. I put it in and I find that the passenger side axle won't stay in the transmission. The shaft that goes into the transmission is too short. The transmission came with half of the original axle, so I was able to compare one that fit in the transmission to mine that doesn't work. The one that works is about an inch to two inches longer. Anyone know where this original axle came from? Also, if I look through the axle holes in the transmission, I can see right through. My old transmission has a bar blocking my seeing through. What's that mean?

I would find out exactly what vehicle the transmisson came out of. Then you can call a salvage yard to see if the two transmissions are compatible. Then at least you can get a handle on what trans/axle combination you need.

Good Luck
