Growling in transmission area

i have a 97 gst. There are 130,000 on the trans. While driving you can hear a growling coming from the transmission. Its only in 2-5th gear. I'm pretty sure it is a load bearing. Im just wondering what else it could be? And, there are 4 or more bearing in the trans, anyone know what one to replace if it growls in 2-5th gear?

while driving the car does the clutch pedal feel like its tryin to pop back out, because if it is then its your throwout bearing

In my humble opinion. If you are inside one of these you should replace all bearings.

I would look close at the synchronizers and replace any of them that shows wear either on the tapered face or where the teeth are.

Be especially mindful of the input bearing and where the input shaft and mainshaft go together. Look for any signs of wear.

You might not like it now, but later could be a different thing.

Its not the clutch or the throwout bearing. we just replaced both along with the engine. i have done like 3 clutches aong with this engine rebuild i nthe last 3 weeks and i'm sick of pulling the trans. i was wondering if it might just be the bearing under the "cap" on the far right side of the trans(5th gear) so i could just take that apart and not the whole trans.
