ive got a 90 fwd eclipse. ive replaced everything that has to do with the clutch.

rebuilt trans
act 2100 clutch w/ 6 puck
act flywheel
new clutch fork and pivot ball
new slave cylinder
new clutch master cylinder
new clutch pedal assembly

now after getting everything back together it will go into gears with the front end lifted in the air, but when we lower it to the ground it wont. the clutch master is adjusted all the way out. its been bled many many times. i really just dont know what the problem could be. please help.

You and I my friend are in the same boat. I am currently looking into the problem and asking around as well. If/when I find out I will let you know. I've already tried nearly everything but pulling the tranny again.

Bumping is not allowed.

Btw I found it helpful to push the slave cylinder in all the way (toward the drivers side) and it helps to equalize the fluid or what not.

I just replaced my master but I need to get that stupid pin in all the way before I bleed again. I am also replacing my rubber clutch line with stainless tonight. I will let you know what happens if I get a new development. It shifts fine when its in the air doh. Go fig.

disconnect the shift cables then reach under the hood and grab a hold of the shift arms on the transmission, move them up and down to select different gears, you should be able to HEAR and FEEL it engage each gear...my car will go into any gear with out having the clutch pushed in..

Got mine fixed.
Apparently the problem was in the hydraulics because when I bled it with the hose and bottle method ALL the air got out and now it shifts like a charm.

I also had a small fluid leak at the slave cylinder that I tightened up.
