Ok so I started getting alot of squeaking from under my car. Called slowboy racing and they got me set up with new carrier bearings. So now I am just rebuilding my whole driveshaft for peace of mind. However I now think it is my x-case that was making the noise. There is a nice grove where the yoke goes in the case... And another question that I have is....is it normal for the x-case to not leak anything once I remove the driveshaft? Because it didnt and I believe that may be why it went crappy on me. Had no fluid???? And yes I know about the recall, I will be calling soon about it. Just curious about the fluid issue. Thanks in advance 4 the responses. :thumb:

That would be "for" the responses, which you probably won't be thankful for, but are welcome nonetheless.

Use proper grammar on DSMtuners.

You should qualify for a transfer case without question. However, good luck with a Mitsubishi dealer.
