I think my input shaft bearing is going cuz its making a noise by my right front tire at idle. But when i press the clutch in it goes away. But now i can hear it while driving at a low speed with the clutch out. Is this the input shaft bearing or throwout bearing? ANd how much does it cost to replace them both??

Mine just did this. Input shaft bearing. I got charged 5 hours labour. Good or bad? Not sure. Fixed...Yep!

It could be either. It's easy to check as long as you don't mind being on the ground in front of your car with the engine running. Just make sure no one tries to drive it away while you're under there! What you need to do is push the clutch fork towards the slave cylinder a little which will also push the slave cylinder's rod into the slave cylinder a little. That will put some space between the TOB and the pressure plate, so there won't be anything touching the TOB. Does it still make the noise? If so, then it's the input shaft bearing going bad. Does the noise completely go away? That would be the TOB. If the noise is still there but it changes, that means it's both, and that would really suck!

Google Translate:
Check your transmission oil level. Ideally, add 3 quarts of 75w90 full synthetic.

This noise generally occurs when the transmission oil level is low.
