Why would someone put a clutch on for 10 miles then take it off..what would be the point of that? Check the flywheel and all the surfaces of the clutch and everyhing that is included in the sale.

Or, warped it during installation by uneven tightening, and it's dragged on the pressure plate since it was first set down off the rack.

Some used parts are always a gamble. You good at craps?

NO, it has less than 10 miles on it. How do I know? Im the one who traded it to him. I sent him plenty of pics and gave him every detail I had on it. Why am I selling/ trading it? because i put it on my 91 Laser turbo FWD and honestly it was just too much pedal pressure for my FWD car, so I took it off and now I have an ACT 2100 clutch. Thats it, nothing is wrong with it whatsoever, it was just too much clutch for my car. You can still see ACT stamped on the clutch disc and the paint chippes is from installing and uninstalling the tranny. the surface rust is from sitting in my room for a few months but I gurenteee it will come off with use.

The clutch was not installed wrong, it was bolted down correctly, ive been doing clutches for years now, I know how to do it correctly. The clutch is not warpped, It never was at the track. I didn't drop the clutch, ever to intentionally hurt it. Its litterally got less then 10 miles of use on it. Yea I probly could have kept it on and eventually got use to the pressure, but why even bother in a FWD? MY ACT 2100 is more then enough for my FWD car. Im not gonna screw you over, I've got a few friends here on the forums that will vouch for me including people locally, so honestly I dont know what your all worried about.

Oh BTW, you better respond to my emails and ship me my damn 02 housing or I WILL show up at your house one day, its only a 5 hour drive....

Later, Dan.

Mmmm act 2600.. I woulden't get anything else but one.. I love the pedal pressure and i'm a really small guy. I had one in two of my fwd's and loved it, Now have one in my awd. Everyone has their own opinion though.

Good luck with the clutch, Don't forget the 500-600 mile break in period
