4 bolt rear swap

i have a question regarding a 4bolt rear swap on a gvr4! i was just wondering if the rear end gear ratio from a 5spd gsx is the same! if not,
then how can i do the mod without killing the transfer case! someone told me they were different, but i see people doing that mod all the time!!! thanks alot, john

As long as they are both MT cars you're set. If the rear end came from a AT car you'd have to swap around some of the guts between the two.
