I am about to get my Remanufactured TRE tranny with the torrington upgrade, my question is , how many miles have you put on yours before you noticed a problem or how many on the tranny and its still going strong??? I'm just curious to get a concensus on this. Thanks!

I can't really comment on the longevity, but I have had mine in for 2 months and put about 5,000 miles on it. Absolutely no problem. I have not ever missed a shift with it or ground a gear.

Don't forget to get the steel shifter bushing and the selector bearings.(HUGE difference and improvement in shifter feel!)

TRE is good stuff, ive had mine in my car for about 2 months and have racked up probably in vacinity of 12k on it, it SHIFTS GREAT AND the only problems you will find is that you are not used to driving the car with a good tranny :) get it?

Nice! What fluid did you guys opt to go with in the TRE??? I'm going to use Pennzoil Synchromesh, its cheaper to replace during the breakin and is the exact same specification as GM or BG.
