Anyone have their tranny at TRE right now?

The reason I ask is that my AWD tranny is there right now. They started working on it about 20 days ago. The last email I got from Jon was about two weeks ago. I've emailed him a week ago and never heard back and emailed this week and haven't heard back.

Also, I haven't been able to get ahold of anyone at their shop by phone for the past couple days and today it says their mailbox is full.

It just strikes me as strange, while I was talking to them about sending it in for a rebuild and my order, I could get ahold of Jon by phone and email and then about 2 1/2 weeks ago they just stopped replying.

I just wanted to know if anyone else who has their tranny at TRE is having the same problem or if there is something I am just missing :confused:

Don't worry.

TRE is a great shop, that does great work, even if they are a little slow in the customer service dept.


I had similar problems, but was very happy with the work.
 
Ya I had the same experience you just have to keep trying to call and email them, but it is well worth it when you get your transmission.
 
I brought my tranny to them personally yesterday and trust me they are very much alive and working. They had my tranny torn down to it's basic elements within 15 minutes right in front of me to asses the damage just as a courtesy that I made the 2 hour trip to their shop. Great guys, but their mailbox is still full :)
 
20 DAYS jeez that’s horrible, that’s not service, but that’s what you get with TRE. I sent my tranny in last summer to shepard racing and I had it back to me in 14 days including shipping time. That’s service.

Time is money!
