:talon: can someone help me? i,ve got a 92 talon awd. my problem is that i cant shift fast, but when my car is cold it shifts like a dream, untill it warms up. i have a south bend kevlar clutch with a fidanza flywheel. i have shimmed the pivot ball and replaced the slave cylinder. i also had the clutch master cylinder rebuilt. there is mobil 1 80-90 in the tranny with the required amonut. i have no play in my clutch pedal but i have to push it to the floor to shift. oh and the shifter cables are tight. can anybody please help? me and my friends cannot figure this problem out.

Your car is fine. Did you ever think that it might be you?? Some people can't shift fast and you might be one of them. Practice and you'll get better..... :shhh: ;) ;)

might be the notchy shifter. i phsyically can't shift very fast because there's resistance going into the next gear that I have to break through. unless i violently shift into the next gear, it's a good half second before i'm fully engaged in the next gear. needless to say for racing i feel like i'm going to break the damn thing.
