I was told my tranny has a cusco diff, IT has no cross shaft just a little hole in the middle. Where the axles slide into is got some weird cross cuts in it. Also is this the front or center diff?

That looks similar to a Quaife front diff.
I've never seen a Cusco diff in person, so I can't eliminate that possiblility.

Who told you it was a Cusco diff, and why do you doubt them?

Thanks for the PM. It looks like you got a bonus mod with your new car! The pics you posted show your front diff, and it's definately not stock. Unless Cusco diffs look just like Quaife, I'd say you got a Quaife front diff.

I'm guessing the previous owner had the car long enough to forget all the mods he did to it. Maybe you'll find some other mods he didn't list?
