I'm getting an act2600 for my 97 tsi awd. I'm torn between a fidanza flywheel and an xact flywheel? Any suggestions?

Depends on the use. Street I'd run the ACT streetlight unless you have programmable engine management.

In an aluminum flywheel I'd forget the fidanza and run an SSG.. Youre best off with some kind of EMS programablility with either..

ACT Streetlight or standard ACT.

Light Flyhweels can cause idle problems and problems when coming off the throttle...

Even with a 4.75lb flywheel I did ok.. I think the strokers are a little more succeptable to flywheel problems due to friction.. Its not as hard to turn over a 88mm stroke as a 100mm. So less mass is required to smooth things out at idle.
