Has anyone ever used or had any experence with any of the disc disc clutches? I'm looking at going with a 2.4 swap with a 60 trim and I don't really want to go with a 2600. I need something that doesn't have that much pressure incase my wife has to drive my car and she can not stand my 2600 now. I talk to one guy and he said he had one and it only had a 1500 lbs pressure plate.but could hold up to 800 lb-ft torque. Any way if anyone has used or has any knowledge on these like how streetable they are on a daily driven car or any info for that I would greatly appreciate it. Any brand you suggest? I'd look at the clutchmasters dual disk...

Id also look at the SBR/competition clutch offerings.

Even with a lower clamp load some dual disks can be a PITA.. Since some don't have room to fit two disks with sprung hubs or marcel backed friction material...
 
I'm building a new AWD project with A landry list of crap, I just got a rebuilt Turbonetics BB T66 that my buddy made 700WHP in his AWD toyota and has run 10.60's in full street trim. Anyone have experiance with the PTT twin disk from Slowboy or any other company? I'm trying to avoid driving on the street with a 4 puck unsprung disk.
 
I've got a Devo Tuning Twin disc. I've had nothing but good luck with it. feather light pedal feel and holds over 800 ft/lbs of torque. Give them a call they sell for 1200.00 Comes with Clutch, TOB, Clutch Fork, flywheel bolts, and Flywheel.

As I said before my post was deleted stay away from Clutch Masters they are pieces of shit, and they don't hold the power plus there hubs are very soft and tend to roll over on the splines of the input shaft.WTF
 
i know this is an old thread, but when the clutch has very light pedal pressure, would this be ideal for someone running a 7 bolt.....ya know, one less thing to worry about when it comes to crankwalk?

A twin disk is ideal for a 7 bolt since it puts less load on the thrust bearings. A big reason why i choose to go this route as well
