'91 Talon TSi <needs a tranny

Okay, I found an ad for a '91 Talon TSi (FF) that "needs transmission work."
Its $800 for the car, about how much does a tranny normally cost? New, used, or otherwise.
Also, which automatic transmissions will fit this car (which other cars and/or engine had this tranny)?
I'm searching around now, I got the Integra done pretty cheap (all things considered, it was cheap). So maybe this will end up working out.

IF you have the money and the time, get a galant VR-4 tranny, It has a taller 1st gear.

That would be a slight problem, I dont have a lot of time or money.
If I can get the tranny cheap enough, I'll probably still have to wait to register it, but then it'll be sweet.

okay, I was wrong, it's a '93 TSi, does it matter?? (any difference between 1g turbo automatic trannys?)
