Im really thinking about getting a spec. stage IV, but i want to do a little research with people who have had first hand expereance with these, i was wondering if you guys could give me some info on the driveablility, and reliablility of theres clutches, now from what i understand the spec clutch dosent come in all one peace like a normal modular clutch setup
if you guys could give me some pointers about install and what not it would really be apreaciated

We have had great success with Spec products. We use them on our personal cars and our drift competition car. I dont know if i would recommend a IV unless you were going with a massive turbo kit or alot of nitrous. I would probably recommend a Stage 2 to retain descent pedal pressure with strong grabbing power.

I hope this helps a little bit. feel free if you have any other questions.

I was really hopeing to get more corrospondence from this that what i have, its hard to make proper assumptshions about theses clutches, because when you get one good coment, right behind it you get a bad one.... and then thats it!!! this is really disipointing :barf:

In my old Talon I had the Spec Stage II. The first clutch was in for about 4-5K miles. Then after 7-8 track passes the clutch spring broke from it's housing.

Second Stage II clutch was in about 2K miles. Not even any hard driving during that perioud the first time I launched it about 3500 rpms the spring came out again.

This is all my luck with these clutches. I am not going to say that all of them are like that. A friend of mine is running a Stage III or higher as we speak and it has been in there for over 2 years.
