i just bought some red line heavy shock proof gear oil and after thinking about it i am wondering if i should have gotten the light weight one. i say this because the car is going to be a daily driver and not see much drag use and the light weight one might give me bettre fuel economy but still good enough protection. it wouldn't be much troble to return it and get the other. should I? i got it for the Tcase and the rear diff.

rarely over 95
but do you think there would be much of a gas milage/protection difference

the heavyweight is what you want for a daily driver, check out what it says on the back of the bottle. The 4WD transfer case only holds about a half a quart, so make sure you're checking the oil level in it every 5-6k miles.

Hey you live close to me.

ya, im moving to beaverton in the next few months.
i was just wondering about fuel economy i think i will just stick with what i got, at least for the T case
