From the beginning, I have problems with shifting my DSM, clutch will not fully disengage, after installing a fidanza flywheel and 2600 clutch kit. Have replaced eveerything you could think of that deals with the shifting process. Someone offered to istall a spacer the goes in between the crank and flywheel that should help my problem. anybody heard of it

I've heard of it, and it will help, but there is an easier way to do the same thing. Just put a lockwasher under the clutch fork pivot ball. That will move the throw out bearing closer to the pressure plate and help the clutch disengage sooner.

i have done everything suggested by vfaq, taboo, and rre. thanks though

...and if that doesn't work, then adding a spacer behind the flywheel won't help either.

Did you have the step height on your Fidanza wheel checked prior to installation?

Every now and then they have one slip through QC that is TOTALLY off.
