Sounds like a no brainer right? Here's my dilemna:

July 9th. My clutch grenaded, literally. First I thought it was the clutch fork, until further inspection to notice it was indeed the actual disk.......I ordered an ACT 2600 soon after as well as a taboo clutch fork. Long story short after 2 months of waiting i'm not getting the clutch fork after all. When I realized this i ordered an entire stock clutch setup from a local Mitsubishi dealer which came in today. Well, i'm obviously wanting to put in the 2600 rather than stock however my main concern was breaking the stock clutch fork w/ the stronger pressure plate. I'm wondering your views on the reliablity if I went the 2600 route w/ the stock fork. How many have done this with success?

Your thoughts...... :dsm:

chances are you won't have a problem with your clutch fork - if you at least replace it, even with the revised stock fork from DSMotorsports, you should be in great shape.

I got the revised one from MachV. Hasn't failed me yet runing the 2600. Plus MachV actully ships things!

Ok, with the help of you guys and some at 502streetscene i've decided to put in the 2600.

However, i've already purchased a new "stock" fork from Mitsu. and it came in a couple days ago. I'm gonna press my luck with it as I needed my car fixed like 3 months ago. I figured its really a matter of replacing the entire stock clutch down the road, or a shift fork. Hope it works for a while! If not i'm blaming all of you guys. :p

Thanks for all the help. :dsm:
