Recal and Tranny question

Recall: My front transfer case is leaking.I found this out do to my car is at AAMCO getting tranny rebuilt.I did a search and found a site called ALLDATA.com and seen that the transfercase was recalled.Now the Chrysler dealer said there was no recall on it but thw Mitsubishi dealer said there was but can not do the recall do to it is a Chrysler product.Does anyone else have anymore proof or sites that I can go to, to back up the Alldata.co info?

Tranny:I got a crack in my bell housing is it best to get a reman or TIG weld it.
