heating up?/shifting/grinding

Just wondering if any of you guys know what's up with my tranny...or if its all Psychological to me. Here's the deal, ..after starting the car and driving for about 5 miles, the tranny shifts like butter. BUT after like 30 minutes of driving, the tranny feels like crap and grinds occasionally. I just want it to shift the way it does for those first 5-10 minutes all the time, especially when racing... Does a tranny "heat up" therefore making it shift like #@%#@%#@%#@%? I'm all confused on this one so lemme know what you guys think. I think i have a decent tranny, but I don't know when i drive it for those hours and it ends up shifting/grinding like #@%#@%#@%#@%.

Definetly change your fluid. Put some BG, GM or MT-90 in there.

ummmm, thats not it for sure, I JUST put in MT-90 and MTL in less than two weeks ago. Any other suggestions?

It could be that your clutch is getting warm and expanding just enough for it to make contact with the flywheel and keep the internals spinning when you shift. Just a hypothesis...

Are you positive the clutch is disengaging all the way?

Other than interally on the transmission I can' think of anything else that heat would effect in this manner.
