:talon: O.K. my first quest ever was taking out my tranny it wasn't so bad I have another car .So my 1st ? is ,has anyone rebuilt their tranny by themselves or do u recommend that I take it somewhere, I have the [shop manual](not haynes,chilton).I went on VFAQ and it help me to remove my tranny.2nd ? Also my diff is busted, should I go back with the factory parts or I also heard of "welding" that piece together (no I wouldn't do it)what should I do?Before u say anything my syncros are out in my tranny(notchy in 1st and grinds in 2nd) that why my tranny is out.Oh yea I gotta give props to who ever had the time to display every move of tranny removel THANX'S!Talon Awd 90'Hmm forgot somthing I can get parts @ cost @ the local dealership to cut down on the cost.I drive my car every now and then put I do like 2 street race and go to meets planning on going on the Super Street Tour this yr. with it so no I don't plan on dogging my car (ripping gears like a 1/4 mile freak.)I would like to rebuild it my self but if not recommed then that's cool!PLEASE HELP THANX'S :confused:
 
I'd suggest talking to TRE (at www.teamrip.com), BM Tranny (www.bmtranny.com), or John Shepherd (www.shepracing.com) about getting your tranny rebuilt from them. They do fantastic work, and they will give you quality parts at a decent price. What you go with for internal options will be up to you, visit their sites and see if you like what you see, otherwise you can go completely stock and keep it cheap.
