When i recieved my free eagle talon esi 1990 it was stuck in nuetral. I would try to shift into 1st ang it would still be in nuetral. It did the same in reverse. I even let go of the clutch and gas and it didnt shut off. Thats when i realized it was stuck in nuetral. I nedd help fast :talon:

Bleed the clutch fluid, there may be an air bubble in the system which is preventing you from putting it in gear. If that doesn't work, let me know.

If the clutch pedal wasnt disengaging and you tried to shift youd get a grind. Sounds to me like either the shfter cables are completely out of wack or broken or your trans is comepletely fooked, may need a rebuild, but id check the shifter cables first

could be the clutch disc instelf. I had a similar issue my clutch went and no matter what gear I had it in the engine just revved. When we went to replace the clutch we found shreds of clutch material all over the inside of the transaxle, obviously as the other guys suggested, check the linkages first. takes a lot less time
