What the muck, the spider gears in the center diff are ok?

Ok I have had all the symptoms of a broken center diff( clicking in reverse, hard to put in reverse was grinding to get in, when you turned the car would almost die, tires clunked around corners, couldnt push the car in neutral) so I pull my tranny apart to get ready to put in a tre spool and I get to my center diff pull it apart and all the spider gears are fine, nothing is broke, it all looks good except some spacer behind some bearings looks like it is too tight and is squished out the side on one side but that couldnt be causing it could it a little thin piece of metal that would break if it came in contact with the spiders. What else could it be I am freakin out I knew something like this would happen I need help what is it?

thats the thrust washer on centre diff output mine did that its normal but do replace it it didnot solve any nioses for me just a bit smoother on u turns
