Today i was out driving around and noticed a weird noise come from under the car on my driver side. So i pull over and get out to see if i can find anything wrong and absolutly everything seems to be fine. Well i put the car in reverse to back up some and all the sudden i hear grinding and it feels like something is in a big bind up front and the car jerks really hard after i let the clutch out and roll a few feet. So i figure im just gonna drive the car home and get it up on jacks to get a better look. well after i get underneeth i dont see anything wrong at all. all the bolts are tight the axels look totaly fine. the only thing i dont understand is that the car doesnt make any of this noise when in any other gear but reverse and to top it of it goes into reverse just fine with no grinds or anything. The problem happens when i let the clutch out and start to roll.

so any suggestions offered would be greatly appreciated. i need ideas.

T/C is certainly a possibility - Front Brake Caliper? Intermediate CV Shaft Carrier Bearing? Some broken Motor Mounts cause Drivetrain noises when only in Reverse...

^^ my car makes a squeak type noise in reverse, its not a solid sound but a continuous rhythmic squeek. what could this be?
