I'm ordering a crate engine soon from Howell and I'm gonna tell them when there building it to build it ready for a turbo so it wont slowly kill my engine down the road. What I wanna know is how much horsepower can my transmission take without abusing the piss out of it?

Wow.....I didn't think a GS transmission went that high..Thats impressive. I only plan on bring her up to 300 max.

i dont know where ya'll heard 500. cuz ive heard stories about adding 100 hp and they blow. and its not just one person, im talkin about 4 or 5

Ive never heard of such a thing. ive heard numerous things that our trannys can hold 500, and i think might be stronger than the GS-T's, but dont hold me to that or flame me if im wrong

that doesnt make much sense, why would rs's and gs's have better tranny's if they're a lesser model. shouldnt the car with the more horsepower and the better model have the more capable tranny?
