It appears my clutch is slipping above around 4000 rpm (in 3rd 4th and 5th). It's a new (oem) clutch and pressure plate. Flywheel was machined. Broke in clutch for about 400 miles before I got on it. Any ideas? Could it be a bad slave cylinder? I can launch hard in first with no slippage. Just at higher rpm's in higher gears.
Edit - tranny shifts ok. No grinding either up or downshifting.

if you find out what your problem is please let me know i have a 97 gst and i`am having the same exact problem as you and this sucks

I am having the same problem. New clutch, slave cyl, master cyl, also had the flywheel resurfaced. Any help out there? :barf:
