Will this glue be a good substitute for Loc-tite when i put the flywheel bolts back in i mean the sh|t can bond my face to a wall i would think it would be strong enough. ive used it for a handle that came loose on my oven one time and that was 1 year ago so its had plenty of heat abuse. its the small container type, this isnt the exact brand but you get the picture.

I asked a simple question but obvisously you guys have never changed clutches by yourself to know what im talking about so please someone with experience please reply. If you guys have changed them before please tell me WHY it would not be a good idea.

I wasnt trying to be an ass and I seriously thought it may have been a joke. No it will not work. You are right in the fact that super glue and Loktite are both adhesives. However they are made to adhere to differnt types of material. Just go buy some loktite, its only like $3 at autozone.

Show me something you can glue together with it.

It's an anaerobic hardening thread locking resin. It works by expanding as it cures in the thread space and causes the threads to essentially seize against it. Unlike cyanoacrylate "super" glues, it's designed to take vibration, torsional loading and heat as are found in automotive-application fasteners. Unlike superglues, it won't try to harden as you're threading the fasteners together.

Anything used in a shop is a "tool". Sometimes, even those working in shops are tools.

That was beautiful man. Loctite is cheaper than buying a new tranny, right?
