Well i took off my flywheel today and put my new lightened EXEDY chromoly steel flywheel on, Along with a brand new ACT 2600 clutch well i spent a total of 2 hours trying to get the tranny back on and i found out y it wouldnt go on. The flywheel is touching the transfer shaft that goes into the transfer case. So this means the flywheel is a bit larger. Does that mean its a FWD one? becuase its a 7bolt flywheel but it didnt seem larger.. Now since i dont have money i cant buy a new one let alone go to a machine shop to have my Stock fly Resurfaced and Stepped to the right height for the 2600..... ? how much is it to get resurfaced/stepped anywayz/?

I thought AWD got Bigger Flywheels. not FWD's, I did a tranny swap twice, and you gotta find the Right spot of the trans, To far up the bottom(output shaft) is going to hit the fly wheel. to low, the bellhousing.

does anybody know for sure which one is bigger the AWD or the FWD one??????? cuz ill try it again maybe it was just me not having any luck or something. who knows
