For the past few months, I've been having issues with my clutch/tranny. Slowly but surely, the clutch begins to engage closer and closer to the floor, while simultaneously it becomes more difficult to place it in gear (any gear). I thought I solved this problem by draining a large amount of clutch fluid and then refilling it. But recently, the shifting and engaging problems have returned.
Also, as I press the clutch pedal in it emits a few low pitched clicks. It has never done this in the past, so it leaves me wondering if it's normal or not. I replaced the clutch 3k miles ago on my 105k car, so I highly doubt that my problems stem from a faulty clutch, though my mechanical understanding of cars is not extensive so for all I know it could be the clutch. My only guess is that a dying tranny is causing all these problems. Hopefully, I'm wrong. Either way, I'd like to get some input from you guys. Thanks for any advice in advance.
