BM LSD vs Quaife

I have a 1990 GS-T FWD. I'm looking at the BM trans LSD and the Quaife. A large price difference exists between the two-$200 BM and $975 Quaife. I know they are different type of units, but both achieve the same thing: putting power to both wheels! Which unit is the best for performance? reliability? Which one to go with? Also, any other places besides RRE and BM to get for cheaper?

I assume you have the quaife in your car. If so, how's it working for you? Any other place beside RRE for cheaper?

If you can't swallow the $1000 Quaiffe wants, the BM LSD is an excellent alternative. We just put one in my friends FWD and it works great. I recommend you do the equal mength halfshaft mod when you do this one.

i recently put a quaife on my GS-T and i absolutely love it. It helps a lot under acceleration but i still break the tires loose in first and second gear(probably cause my tires are cheap) but it is especially rediclous in coming out of the corners. it puts all the power to the outside and whips the car. I'm definatly not knocking the BM tranny LSD cause i know nothing about it. i'm just giving you my opinion on the quaife. I also like the fact that it's guarenteed for life even if you race with it. hope that helps a little

If it does the same job then I would go for the BM. I think I plan to go that direction, because I don't have all the money in the world. You feel me!!

Do you have a link for the BM LSD? I don't see it in the RRE website, all I see is the Quaife LSD.
