Relocating 1990 cruise control module

I found a good deal on a non-ABS UIP that I want to get, but my 90 has cruise control in the same spot as the ABS block. Is it possible to relocate the CC box to the firewall like the 91+ cars have or any other location? I don't want to get rid of CC because I'm a lazy bi*** who loves it on long trips
