Terrible track day

What the FU_K???? Today was my first time running my 97 Eclipse GSX. I am in the USAF stationed in England. I took my car to Santa Pod Raceway. I have Seen several tracks in the U.S. and this one was TERRIBLE! Me and my friend who has a 2004 STI raced. 1st of all there was 280 cars there racing. We were in the back of the line, after 1 1/2hrs we finally got to run. Over here its just "stage" then 1 yellow, then GO! I learned the hard way because I COMPLETLY messed up the launch making the car HOP through first gear. Result

What you guys think? Should I hand in my keys now or what? The second run I spun all 4 tires through first gear AGAIN! Yes the track here sucks, and yes I saw A LOT of cars running shitty times, like the Nissan Skyline R-33 GTR fully modded ran a 14.7, a Ferarri 360 ran a whopping 13.2, and my friends STI cound only muster a 13.9 after 3 attempts. The best of us (americans from base) could get was a 13.8 @ 89MPH??????? He was in a Modded 2001 subaru WRX. Even saw European spec BMW M3's running high 15's????? It was a cool day (45) and EVERYONE says the track SUCKs over here. Botton LINE, WTF am I not running at least mid-low 13's. I've seen Eclipses in the states with WAYYYY fewer Mods running 12's. I just ordered a pocketlogger for tuning but what else am I doing wrong???? I have a 1G head/throttleboddy, TD05 20G turbo, 550cc injectors, Walboro 255 fuel pump, Apex_i AFC, Greddy Profec B boost controller, ACT 2600 w/street disc, 3in turbo back exhaust, free flow intake, greddy FMIC/hard pipes, Greddy BOV, and several suspenson/brake mods. I am STACKED!!!!

whoa, it seems like the track just seems to suck, with the other cars including yours running those kind of times says wat kind of track you guys have unless yall are just a bunch of newbie drivers which i dont think with the cars all you guys have. you seem to have high 60 ft' times, maybe if u work on that then u would be getting better times.

2.3 60ft ? damn thats what a stock FWD DSM does, AWD should at least cut 1.9 60ft.

Next time don't give a poop about the lights... just go when you're ready. The time shouldn't start until you leave the staging sensors.
