Car is a 98 Elipse GS-T Spyder with an auto. List of mods are as follows RRE Upper Intercooler Piping, 1G BOV, Apex 3" Downpipe, Borla Muffler, Joe P MBC, K&N FIPK, Strut Bar, Tokico Illumina Adjustable Struts and shocks. Boost was set at 18#. Temperature was a nice 50 degrees. Best run was 14.8@ 93mph w/ 2.1 60". rest of the runs were consistant 14.9s and 15.0s. Does this seem about right, i was hoping the car was capable of 14.5s. The launch was perfect ever time and with absolutely no wheel spin. Is the automatic transmission holding the car back or is it running where it should. thanks in advance for any input.

I have a feeling that your timing is getting pulled because of the high boost you are running on the stock fuel system.. Do you have a datalogger to log a pull or two??
The reason I think this is so, is that I have a 91 gsx auto and before any fuel mods running only 12psi I ran 14.35 @ 96.75mph. I logged the run and had no knock. My next run i turned up the boost to 17psi and ran 15.16 @ 91.57mph. The log for that run showed 43 counts of knock and pulled timing to 2-3 between 5000 and 5800rpm. I felt the car slow when the timing got pulled. This was on 93 octane pump gas with 5 gal of 100 octane added.

Thanks for the reply. No i do not have a datalogger but what you said is definitely a possibility i overlooked. What's the solution?..a better fuel pump and or something else?

for what you have being a auto spyder 14.8 is pretty good...if you turn the boost down to 13-14 youll be better off(the t25 sucks after 14-15 psi). I can tell you my car felt ALOT stronger when it was boosting 13 psi and now that its at 15-16(out of control boost, mbc is out) it doesnt fell as strong. If you get the boost right I can give you a guess of maybe 14.7xx but keep in mind the auto and spyder and that def affects your time. Your off to a great start learn how to tune and get a logger.

Thanks for the advice. Besides the obvious of getting a better turbo what are the next few mods i should do to put more power to the wheels still using the t25?

Sorry for the double post above, my server flaked out on me..

As for future mods to consider (not including replacing the T-too small turbo) I would suggest fuel pump re-wire kit or a walbro 190 pump and a Data Logger of some sort. A used Palm IIIxe can be bought from Ebay for around $50 to $75. I got a Palm IIIc (color) for $65 in near perfect condition from Ebay. I perfer the color cause it's easier to see at night. For my 1G, a data cable from DSMparts was $70 and the software was free from the internet.
Now, you have a 2G so there may only be one or two choices for data cables for your car, at http://pocketlogger.com/index.php?pid=plobdii
OR http://www.dsmparts.com/datalogger_2G.htm If im wrong and an OBD-II data cable can be had elsewhere, i'm sure someone will correct me. It may be a little $$$ at first but the knowledge of knowing how your car is running is priceless!!!

Hope all this helps for now...

get the rest of the intercooler piping, get a complete exhaust and upgrade your fuel pump to a 190(dont rewire it or rewire it and dont get a pump unless you are getting a afpr or fpr). With complete exhaust and ic piping youll notice the best results. After that anything else you get will need tunning.
