Hey what’s up everybody just wanted to share my most recent race with a vr6 golf turbocharged. Well I go to this hang out for vw and this guy hits me up do you want to run my car so I say no because I am afraid  , yeah right of course, so we go to this mile long road where there are no cars at all, we line up and the count down begins 1 2 3 we take off, I have my boost controller set at 16 psi, so I feather the clutch and give it half the gas, my wheels grab so I give it more gas then they start spinning so I start feathering the clutch and gas which sucks because I am loosing boost pressure, the golf gets ahead of me by ½ a car, until finally traction “yeah”, I stomp on the gas shift to second a chirp and of I go, pass him up by ½ a car switch to 3rd and im ahead by a car, we see lights ahead and shut it off. I took him but my traction sucks I have a profec b boost controller but I still don’t have the remote to be able to switch from low to high, until then I will just keep teasing these cars to think there going to win until second gear then show them what a DSM is all about.

Good kill ...what do you run ?

Too be honest I dont know alot about VW, but the guy came up to me and said if I wanted to race his vr6, then stated it was turbo'd. Then when I saw the car it was a 2dr golf, no later than a 2000 maybee even newer, I didnt ask. Wish I had a camera.........

Thanks...

He either

wasn't turbo'd
wasn't a VR6
or was broken.

14.6 is a horrible time for a turbo VR6 golf. N/A can do that with a little work. 1.8T's can do it a bit easier, with a chip (40+ hp) and a few boltons.

I used to own a dsm. I'd rather my VW's gearing. 70 in 2nd gear.

Hmmmm....I have a 2003 Gti vr6 and I am N/a..I've hit low 12's... unless this guy is an idiot i dont think u would have easily beaten a turbo'd gti vr6....
