It's not a matter of finding how to fit 20" wide slicks on your FWD. It's a matter of finding a good combo, not too wide, not too thin. Look into 22x8's slicks. Combine that with an LSD or LSD Inster and you'll be a happy camper.

If you want to get out of 2.4's and into 2.2's...learn to drive...

I know of a couple of guys running 245/40 17's on a 2G. If the car isn't lowered or has adj coil overs I would try a 245/50/16 Nitto 555R or drop to a 15in rim and run a BFG 235/50/15. I do understand they are taller then the factory 24.8" tires, but the increased height will help your MPH. Also on the suspension side I would make the rear shocks stiff as possible(to prevent squatting) and use limit starps up front. I would avoid shorter tires, I tried 205/45/16s(23.8" tall) on my FWD and could 60ft in the 1.8s, but my end ET was slower because I was losing my top end speed.
