I got a 97 GST with quite a few mods. I go to the races up in tracy every saturday, but i can never get a good freakin launch. Im still on a stock clutch for now though , and pushing a 19C junior frank on stock injectors for now, i also have skunk2 coilovers and AGX shocks. Whenever i launch though i either get wheel hop, but 90% of the time my tires just spin. I got bridgestone S03's btw.

what do u guys recommend launching a mildly modded GST at? Ive tried several set rpm's but nothin works good. And is double clutching usued for dsm's at all? I know VTEC's do it alot, but dsm's?

thanks

double clutching was used before synchros, unless you dont have synchros or yours are bad, you dont double clutch unless you wanna hurt your times

get some motor mounts, they make a huge difference in wheel hop, prothane makes them they are around 90 bux
