how hard? 13s on 16g gst

How hard would it be to hit 13s w/ a s16g smic on a gst w/ street tires? I'm pretty sure its possible, but is it rare. I mean is it one of those things where when everything is perfect then you'll hit 13s. Oh and on pump gas to.

i've run 12's all day but i had more mods than what your saying there. fmic, dp, intake, exhaust, etc. are u asking just a straight up 16g with nothing else? its very possible to run 13's just with more mods than what u mentioned

I dont mean just a bolt on 16g, but w/ the other basic mods like exhaust, intake maybe even 550's but no advanced stuff like front mounts or water injection, fully gutted interior etc....

I have no FMIC or water injection. I am hoping to be close to a 13.9 or better this weekend with full weight

I have a gsx with a 16g ( ported ) with bolt ons like exhaust, boost controller, etc and ran a 13.740 .... first time at the track too. ( 1.10 bar as far as boost goes ) I know I can do low 13s so you should be able to get into the 13s also.

Hell, you can get in the 13's with the t-25. I ran a 13.9 @ 100mph with a 2.213 60ft on mine. I had an air filter, crappy 2.5" press-bent cat-back exhaust, 255lhp fp, i/c piping w/bov, boost controller at 19ps on 93 octane and with full interior. Simple mods with a 16g should get you running mid 13's with good launches. The trick is not spinning...

um, just simple mods such as downpipe, exhaust, hfc, boost controller, boost guage, intake, hffp ... run it like that on 18 psi and you should be in the high 13s. Then upgrade the turbo and you're in the 13s all day.

I took mine to the track again and my second time there my best was a 13.3 and my worst was a 13.8 .... average was 13.4 ( messed up the 13.8 run ) .... this is with a 16g but my car has shitty trap speeds because I think I'm heatsoaking the stock intercooler too much.

Well I did 13,69 with stock sidemount and 16G in my full weight (1440kg) 3168 GS-T with severe knock problems, aiming for 12's next weekend or at least low 13's. But I'm on slicks

I recently seen a guy w/ a 20g, turbo back exhaust have trouble geting into the 13s. He was running 14s alot and occasional 13s. He was fwd too.

You should be thinking of hitting 12's with a 16g, NEVER MIND 13's.
