Gs-x V. Turbo Si

A guys I was wondering I have a stock gs-x. I was wondering my friends turbocharged his Si and is talking out his ass but who do you guys think will when.

Si-Drag 4 kit set at 5 psi

close call...if your friend can drive. from a dig youll take him no contest youll beat the hell out of him, highway pull hes lighter and might pull on you. Race him and get back.

if its turbo....Make sure u dont go from a roll, but im bettin he'll walk you pretty bad, get some mods!

I took a striped DX with a t3/t4 turbo and a GS-R motor he pulled low 14's high 13's all night. So I have to say no way because the GS-R motor is bigger all the way around than the Si. My guess is if he can keep the tires from hopin he should be in the mid 14's at the very best, most likly low 15's. With some practice you can run mid-high 14's stock.

I've seen Sis run mid 15s stock. A turbo Si properly driven is a 13 second car, depending on boost pressure, the kit, the 60', etc, etc. Low pressure maybe 14s, but no way a 15 second car unless he's driving it backwards.

Sorry to bring back the thread but i have to me and my friend are going to run next month but he has no new mods....

B16 Fully Built stroked out,880's ,and AEM EMS tuned but yea at 10psi he mad 310hp i am guessing he is going to run me at 20psi on slicks so yea what do you guys think my mods are in my sig... i am going to get my car tuned at RRE

My list is true but the thing is he is looking at 500plus hp he says...so yea if you guys say its cool then i am going to put money on it......

It will still be close if he is telling you the true hp #. I think your AWD is going to be the deciding factor. Get it tuned and you 'can win', you should get some dyno #'s too so you can let us get a better hold on your situation.

So, a turbo SI at 4lbs of boost has 500 whp? If im understanding that correctly...thats the dumbest thing i've ever heard.

No, when the original race was going to happend he was at 4 psi. Now he fully fuilt his B16 and most likely he is going to be running me at like 20psi proobably making like 500hp....he dyno tuned his car recently 310hp at 10psi... so yea
