Made a few runs yesterday

Well I was able to make it up to Lapeer Mi to the drag strip for a few runs. On the way up I found out that I could only boost to 14psi. Which just happened to be stock external wastegate pressure. I did find out at the track that the solenoid was bad so I figured I would still see how the car would do at 14 psi while on a basic tune I made awhile back.

The first run I slipped the clutch way to hard and almost toasted it so I backed out after that happen.

Second run I made a good pass with a 12.69@ 114mph

Third and final run I ran a 12.499@ 114mph with a 1.9 60ft time. (ew)

All I can say is that I cant wait till my new boost controller comes in. I know Ill make it into the 11's. Question is How deep do you think Ill go?

This was on the new motor with my sleeper 16G and e85.

Mid 12s on a 16g at 14 psi is awesome!

Thanks haha, Thats what I was thinking. It is the sleeper 16g though. Got it from austin, with the 20g wheel and machined housing. I cant wait to up it.

Thats still pretty wild.. When I was still on my 20g tuned to 19 psi I could only manage a 108 trap speed. But, that was a 93 octane tune so it was pretty conservative.

Nice runs for only 14 psi! 114mph is pretty darn good for that amount of boost.
